OKLAHOMA CITY – After winning unanimous approval in the Senate Health and Human Services Committee and passing the full Senate, a bill to help determine the causes of maternal deaths in Oklahoma is now one step closer to the governor’s desk. Rep. Cynthia Roe, R-Lindsay, and Sen. Jo Anna Dossett, D-Tulsa, are authors of House Bill 2152.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Senate Bill 1751, authored by Sen. Jo Anna Dossett, D-Tulsa, and Rep. Melissa Provenzano, D-Tulsa, has won the support of the full House. The legislation will prepare those stepping into the role of court-appointed guardian for a person with dementia.

OKLAHOMA CITY – After winning unanimous approval in the Senate Health and Human Services committee Thursday, a bill to help Oklahoma improve its data on maternal deaths will next be considered by the full Senate. Sen. Jo Anna Dossett, D-Tulsa, and Rep. Cynthia Roe, R-Lindsay, are principal authors of House Bill 2152.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Jo Anna Dossett, D-Tulsa, has been honored by the Oklahoma Rifle Association (ORA). Dossett was presented with the association’s 2024 ORA Legislator of the Year award. Throughout the 2023 interim and during the 2024 session, Dossett has been working on legislation to incentivize greater use of gun safety devices.
