OKLAHOMA CITY – Senator Jo Anna Dossett, D-Tulsa, announced Wednesday that her Senate Bills 50 and 176 will soon take effect on November 1, offering Oklahomans increased access to gun safes and contraceptive pills. 

SB 50 creates a state sales tax exemption on the purchase of any gun safe or safety device.
