Sen. Bullard named caucus vice chair, chairman of Tourism and Wildlife Committee

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. David Bullard will serve in new leadership roles for the 59th Legislature, along with other new and continuing committee assignments. The Durant Republican was elected by his colleagues to serve as caucus vice chair and appointed by President Pro Tem Greg Treat to serve as chair of the Tourism and Wildlife Committee.

"To be chosen to represent our caucus in this leadership role is an honor. We’ve accomplished some incredible feats these past four years, but there is so much more to do,” Bullard said. “I’m looking forward to helping further expand and promote our tourism industry and showcase all the wonderful industries and natural beauty our state has to offer.”

Bullard’s other new assignments include the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules and the Appropriations Subcommittee on Natural Resources and Regulatory Services. He’ll also be returning to the Judiciary, Energy and Telecommunications, and Rules Committees.
