Bergstrom Honors Ketchum Elementary School Student for Outstanding Leadership

OKLAHOMA CITY- Sen. Micheal Bergstrom, R-Adair, recently visited Ketchum Elementary School to present a citation to Braylin Rochell, a standout 5th-grade student, in recognition of his exceptional leadership. Braylin was selected as the Student of the Month and recently stood out during the school’s Veterans Day festivities.

“It is truly inspiring to see young leaders like Braylin Rochell emerge within our community,” Bergstrom said. “From what I have learned about Braylin he consistently tries to be a servant to others. He has a sense of personal responsibility and demonstrates respect for others. That sets a positive example for his peers.”

During the visit, Bergstrom, who was joined by Representative Rusty Cornwell, had the opportunity to engage with students, educators, and school administrators.

“We need to appreciate it when our young people act as Braylin has,” Bergstrom said. “I’m thankful for the dedication of teachers and administrators who create an environment where students, like Braylin, are encouraged to do their best and excel in all areas of their lives and education.”
