OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Warren Hamilton, R-McCurtain, received unanimous Senate approval for House Bill 1414. The measure authorizes veterans with a minimum of four years of military police service to count that experience toward the four-year requirement needed to qualify as a candidate for county sheriff.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Warren Hamilton, R-McCurtain, received unanimous Senate approval for House Bill 1995. The measure amends an existing state statute that prohibits employees of school districts from engaging in relationships with students to include employed and contracted school resource officers and security guards.
