OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Roger Thompson, R-Okemah, will continue in his leadership role as Senate Appropriations chair for the 59^th Legislature.  Thompson has served in that position for the past four years, and will also continue to hold seats on both the Senate Rules and Finance Committees.

Roger Thompson, R-Okemah, was sworn in for his third and final term in the Oklahoma Senate on Wednesday.  He was automatically re-elected after being unopposed for the District 8 seat.  The swearing in ceremony was held in the Senate Chamber and was presided over by Lt. Gov. Matt Pinnell.
