Senator Jonathan Wingard was born and raised in Ada on his grandparents’ dairy farm and attended Latta Public Schools. As part of a multigenerational farming family, he learned from a young age the value of hard work.
A recently retired veteran, Senator Wingard devoted nearly 19 years of his life to the Oklahoma Army National Guard. He was deployed numerous times on active-duty missions, including deployments to Kuwait and Afghanistan. While enlisted, he also participated in numerous active-duty missions across Oklahoma.
He is now a successful small business owner who operates 3 South Processing, a custom meat processing plant in Ada.
Senator Wingard and his fiancée, Ashley Wilson, have a son, Brian. Wingard is also the proud father of a daughter, Madison.
