Sen. Christi Gillespie’s connection to Oklahoma began as a child when she moved to the state and grew up in Broken Arrow. Embracing the values and challenges of her community, she developed a deep understanding of the needs of local families and a strong commitment to serving others.
As a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, family has always been at the heart of everything Christi does. She is passionate about creating opportunities that make Oklahoma the premier state for families to live, grow, and achieve their dreams.
After graduating cum laude from Oklahoma Christian University with a degree in Mass Communications, Christi built a distinguished career in sales and leadership, including serving as Director of Sales & Training, North America for SeneGence International. Today, she co-owns Let’s Play BA, a children’s indoor play business located on Main Street in Broken Arrow, with her daughter. The business reflects her commitment to supporting families and fostering community engagement.
Her dedication to her community led to her election to the Broken Arrow City Council in 2019, where she was later named Vice Mayor in 2021 and re-elected in 2023. Her leadership has been instrumental in revitalizing the local economy, enhancing public safety, improving infrastructure, and upgrading city services.
Now representing Senate District 33 as a state senator, Christi continues to bring her energy, experience, and passion to her work.
