OKLAHOMA CITY –Senate Democratic Leader Kay Floyd issued the following statement Tuesday on the governor’s push to further reduce taxes.

“Our caucus is happy to consider tax reform if committee members and the public vet it during the regular session, if it primarily benefits the 70% of Oklahoma households who earn less than $75 thousand a year, and if it does not limit public access to health care, emergency services, or education. The governor’s proposal simply does not meet those very basic criteria.” –  Senate Democratic Leader Kay Floyd, D-Oklahoma City.
