OKLAHOMA CITY – State Sen. Darcy Jech is commending the Senate’s approval of the gubernatorial executive nomination of Kingfisher resident Kurt Bollenbach, who was nominated to serve by Gov. Stitt. Jech carried the nomination through the confirmation process.
Bollenbach was confirmed by the Senate earlier this week to serve on the State Board of Education for a four year term, ending April 2, 2023, succeeding Cathryn Franks. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/International Business from Oklahoma State University and a law degree from the University of Oklahoma. Bollenbach is currently associated with Ax Energy Consulting and Teocalli Exploration. He is also involved in family farming and ranching in the Kingfisher area.
“It was an honor to carry Kurt Bollenbach’s gubernatorial nomination,” said Jech, R-Kingfisher. “I appreciate his enthusiasm and willingness to serve and I’m confident his diverse knowledge and skillset will serve the Board of Education and the state well.”
