State Sen. Marty Quinn, R-Claremore, received a perfect legislative score card from the Research Institute for Economic Development (RIED) for his pro-business votes during the 2020 legislative session.
RIED Report grades were based on individual voting records for two House bills and eight Senate bills related to business, job creation, elevation of income or economic growth. Twenty-one members of the Senate received a perfect score.
“As a small business owner myself, I know how important it is for state legislation to promote growth and success for our businesses that can also be applied in real-world scenarios,” Quinn said. “I’m honored to receive a perfect score from RIED, and I’ll continue to work to ensure Oklahoma is a top choice for businesses to call home.”
RIED is an organization that promotes economic growth through the evaluation of business, job and economic growth issues considered by the Oklahoma Legislature.
