OKLAHOMA CITY – State Senator Roland Pederson has been tapped to serve as the Vice-Chair of the Senate Agriculture and Wildlife Committee for the upcoming 57th Legislature. Pederson, R-Enid, has also been selected to serve on the Education and General Government Committees, as well as the Appropriations Subcommittee on Natural Resources and Regulatory Services.
“I’m honored to be chosen to serve in these new capacities on Senate committees,” Pederson said. “I’m looking forward to getting back to work at the Capitol in a few weeks on a progressive and productive legislative session.”
Pederson was elected to the State Senate in 2016. Members will return to the statehouse for an organizational day on January 8, 2019, and the 2019 session will formally begin on February 4.
