Morgan: Senate Democrats Remain Strong Supporters of Rural Oklahoma

Statement by Senate President Pro Tempore Mike Morgan
“Each of the measures that grew out of House Republicans brief sojourn into rural Oklahoma last year has been assigned to the appropriate committee and each will be given due consideration. Every bill will be weighed on its own merits.

“We understand House leaders need to change the subject, but trying to distort the record is wrong. Senate Democrats have always been and continue to be the strongest supporters of the issues that really matter to the hard working people and business owners in rural Oklahoma.”
