Garvin statement on Duncan shooting

Sen. Jessica Garvin, R-Duncan, released the following statement Wednesday following the tragic shooting death of 20-year-old convenience store worker, Malaki Stone, Tuesday in Duncan.

“So sad to hear of the fatal shooting of the 20-year-old convenience store worker in Duncan. However, knowing the commitment of our District Attorney and his team as well as our Duncan law enforcement officers, I am confident that justice will be served. My prayers are with the family of Malaki Stone and my hope is they feel love and comfort during this unimaginable time.”
