Sen. Marty Quinn was born in Dierks, Arkansas in 1959 and graduated from Dierks High School before attending Henderson State University.
Sen. Quinn brings nearly 40 years of experience in the insurance industry to the Oklahoma State Senate. He began his career with Shelter Insurance Company in 1982 and served as Regional Manager of the company in Kentucky and Oklahoma.
He was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives, District 9, in 2010, and then ran unopposed to the Oklahoma State Senate, District 2, in 2014 and was re-elected in 2018.
He was elected Senate Assistant Majority Floor Leader in January 2018 and as Assistant Majority Whip in December 2018.
Sen. Quinn and his wife, Kelley, have two children, Lynsay and Tyler. He serves as a deacon at Blue Starr Church of Christ in Claremore.
