Claremore Progress – Thank you letter to citizens of SD #2

I want to wish the citizens of Senate District 2 a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.  I am so honored and humbled that you have chosen me to be your voice in the Oklahoma State Senate.  This is a privilege that I do not take lightly or for granted.  I’m looking forward to sharing your ideas and concerns with my Senate colleagues this session.

I also want to thank the people of Rogers County for allowing me to represent you in the House of Representatives for the past four years.  Since getting into office, I have strived to remain open-minded and fair to all, and to respect and protect the conservative values of our district and state.  I worked hard to build a positive reputation in the legislature as someone who stands by his word and is trustworthy.  I’m proud of the progress we were able to accomplish while in the House from lowering the income tax to help hardworking Oklahoma families to reforming the worker’s compensation laws to protect both Oklahoma workers and our business community.  I’m looking forward to building on those accomplishments in the Senate.

My family and I are so grateful for this tremendous blessing and responsibility.  I hope that I have met and exceeded your expectations as a public servant, and continue to do so.

My family has been truly blessed this year.  My son, Tyler Quinn, graduated from Oklahoma State University on December 13th and my daughter, Lynsay, continues to flourish in her career in Dallas.  And even though their careers may take them to other states, Claremore will always be their home.  Our family is proud to be a part of such an incredible community.

From my family to yours, we wish you a happy and safe holiday season.
