Boggs tapped for Senate Veterans and Military committee vice-chair

OKLAHOMA CITY –   State Senator Larry Boggs has been tapped to serve as the Vice-Chair of the Senate Veterans and Military Affairs Committee for the upcoming 57th Legislature.  Boggs, R-Wilburton, has also been selected to serve on the Public Safety and Transportation Committees, as well as the Appropriations Subcommittee on Natural Resources and Regulatory Services.

“I’m honored to be selected to serve on these committees and continue to have the opportunity to represent the good people of Senate District 7,” Boggs said.  “The new session is around the corner and I’m looking forward to the great potential it holds for Oklahoma.” 

            Boggs has served in the State Senate since 2012.  Members will return to the Capitol for an organizational day on January 8, 2019, and the 2019 session will formally begin on February 4.
