Adair Senator participates in Cherokee Nation Economic Impact Summit

OKLAHOMA CITY - Sen. Micheal Bergstrom, R-Adair, participated in the Cherokee Nation Economic Impact Summit in Catoosa on Friday, April 21.

“The Cherokee Nation is a vital and growing force in northeastern Oklahoma with an economic impact of well over $2 billion in our state,” Bergstrom said.  “It was a privilege to be invited to attend the Cherokee Nation Economic Impact Summit and be better able to understand the tribe’s vision for its members and the communities they are a part of. I look forward to working with the Cherokee nation’s leaders, as well as those of our regions’ other tribes, in developing partnerships to benefit the citizens of northeast Oklahoma.”
